VILLAGE Dance
July 27, 2009
Lake Oconee Village
At the corner of Hwy 44 & Linger Longer Road
In the Parkside District

Record temperatures did not stop Lake area residents from coming out to the 1st
of six events scheduled for this year at the Lake Oconee Village. Attendees of the
VILLAGE Dance were transported back in time to the 1940's with the sounds
of Tony Winston and the Mondo Swing Orchestra.

Many began the evening with East Coast Swing
dance lessons by local dance instructor Jean

Graham. Both young and old enjoyed the
intermission game of Musical Chairs with 50 players
vieing for their chance to win 1 of 10 pairs of
Concierge Level movie passes to Spotlight Theater or the grand prize of a 1-year
Conceirge Membership at Spotlight Theater.
One lucking winner was drawn from
those who purchased SeaDoo raffle tickets at the show. He won a framed, original
painting donated by Magnolia Art Gallery. The Lake Oconee Village Series is made
possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors.
